In compliance with state laws, and in order to keep our staff and our customers safe and healthy, our retail shop and Blossom Bar located in the Balducci's-Hearst Tower is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 NYC shutdown. We have paused all floral deliveries, sales and Blossom Bar activities at this time.
While we cannot be there in person at this time, we look forward to working with you in the future and invite you to email hello@repeatroses.com for more information. Likewise, we are not taking orders for delivery or subscription service at this time. Thank you.

DETAILS

This week's Passports collection celebrates a decidedly female art form: the classic ballerina and the dazzling array of tutu-inspired fashion.

The Museum at FIT’s “Ballerina: Fashion’s Modern Muse” exhibit (open through April 18th) presents a most beautiful collection of haute couture inspired by Giselle and Swan Lake. Colors emblematic of ballerinas, such as ballet pink as well as hues popularized by specific ballets such as “Sleeping” blue and lilac from Sleeping Beauty found their way into couturier’s collections over the years, and now into this week’s Passports collection.

Consider ballet-inspired materials such as the tulle you’ll find in our window display and hand-tied bouquets this week as the artful accents to transport you to a world filled with ballerina-inspired couture gowns and voluminous skirts. And as a fashion bonus? The tulle is textile material donated by FabScrap, a textile recycling nonprofit that recovers fabrics from high-end designers in New York City as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.

We're celebrating Ballerina: Fashion’s Modern Muse in sustainable style this week with ballet pink and peach ranunculus and garden roses, lilac.

 • Options: Choose a hand-tied bouquet using this week's Passports theme selection (available for pick up in store or for delivery) or a beautiful arranged design in a glass vase.

• Same day orders must be placed before 1pm EST and a $25 delivery charge applies in Manhattan (below 100th Street)

FLOWER CARE

Water

Hydrate! Every other day, give the lower portion of flowers' stems a quick rinse to clean them, and then clean out your vase and add fresh water.

Environment

Flowers are meant to be showcased and enjoyed for all to see. Keep them going stronger longer by staying away from direct sunlight, near a heat source or in a draft.

Trimming

Remember to give your stems a fresh cut with a floral knife. Always remove the foliage that will be below the water level of the vase to avoid creating dirty vase water.

MILLIONS OF POUNDS OF FLOWERS WIND UP IN THE TRASH EVERYDAY…

WE'RE CHANGING THAT.

The flowers provided by Repeat Roses provide benefits on multiple levels. We have a lot of people who come to the center and go through their treatment by themselves and they don't have a big support system. It helps people feel like they're not so alone.
