Thousands of Blooms in Thousand Oaks

JULY 2019

Last November, we were preparing for a beautiful wedding at the Sherwood Country Club when suddenly California wildfires devastated areas across the state -- destroying the venue and forcing our couple and their entire wedding party, guests and vendors to relocate. This time time around, however, there was no venue change required, making it a full-circle moment for us to return to the gorgeous country club and work again with the lovely Bella Vita Events team.

After Melissa and Branden became officially newlywed and the celebration came to a close, we repurposed the beautiful florals to deliver a spot of hope and comfort to pediatric cancer patients at the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), a safe "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment in local hospitals.

The kindness and generosity of these thoughtful newlyweds brought nature indoors, created meaningful social impact, and allowed Repeat Roses to finally see thousands of stems from Thousand Oaks finally make it into the hands and hearts of the community’s littlest neighbors in need.
